How to get started on Steamgifts: It’s very easy to join Steamgifts and anyone with a steam account with the value of $100 or more can register on the website and start posting raffles or giveaways or participate in giveaways posted by others. The users are required to keep their Steam profile public so that Steamgifts support can check the eligibility of the user and after that, it’s user’s discretion to keep it public or private but while posting raffles or giveaways he or she should keep the profile public.
How Giveaways work on Steamgifts: Giveaways are like giving free gifts to members of the website but there are rules which make it just a bit complicated but fair for all users. All giveaways have a Contributor value which is estimated with the number of times we start a giveaway for the same game whether in same or in numerous freebies and its value starts decreasing after 5 giveaways of the same game.
Factors which affect the Contributor value: There are different factors which affect the contributor value. • Level 1: $0.01 – $25
• Level 2: $25 – $50
• Level 3: $50 – $100
• Level 4: $100 – $250
• Level 5: $250 – $500
• Level 6: $500 – $1,000
• Level 7: $1,000 – $2,000
• Level 8: $2,000 – $3,000
• Level 9: $3,000 – $5,000
• Level 10: $5,000+
Users will earn P (Points) for entering giveaways and they are required to pay points to enter the giveaway as well. These points ate automatically adjusted overnight and the users are not required to intervene for that.
Types of Giveaways: There are different types of Giveaways and it can facilitate the poster in getting the required users for its games because not all games or keys can work for all users. Types of giveaways are:
Invite Only, Region restricted, limited to Steam group, White list.
Suspensions & Bans: Users can receive suspensions or bans if they didn’t comply with the user requirements of the website. If users don’t mark the gift as received or start a fake giveaway or abuse any member or contact the poster of the giveaway before one week, then they can receive Suspensions or bans from the website. Users are required to write to support or open a ticket for any problem they face and support will take care of it.
